The Craft Cupboard has been opened and the stock duly counted in preparation for stock replenishing. 7 weeks till the first Craft Fair so still some work to do before then.
Still managing to keep ahead!

Happy New Year

From holiday to New year in one big step, was so busy with craft fayres and preparing for them to visit the blog. What an excuse??
I feel more organised this year then ever before so keeping my blog up to date will be priority.

I'm Back from Drinking Margaritas in New Orleans

Well the holiday seems like a distant memory, but we did enjoy it apart from the drinking bit, the deep south is beautiful, friendly and full of music. There were so many "best bits" I don't know what to tell you first.

Starting to get excited

Only two more days and I will be on my holidays. I have spend the whole day doing stuff and nothing to show for it. Got my grandson with me for the night so had better go and see to him before he recks the place

Party a great success!

The ruby wedding celebrations went well and a few more glasses drunk than intended. Saturday was dinner with friends and family which was very enjoyable. Sunday was celebration lunch with more friends plus the family and friends from Saturday so more glasses drunk on Sunday lunchtime, continuing on into the afternoon.
I can only say that the screen is exceptionally bright this morning and the spell checker is working to capacity as I seem to have dyslexic fingers.
I won't be doing any delicate work today. I should really sort out my case for my holiday, getting it out of the attic would be a good start. I'm off for some coffee first!

Cakes are finished!!

Phew! cakes are finished, at last, will need to do some photos to keep a record more to show off than for me to remember. Athough my memory is not as good as it used to be??
Got a party tonight so better go and make myself beautiful - should have started last night then eh!

a break from making cakes

I was taking a tea break from making a birthday cake and a Golden Wedding cake and here I am making a blog. I usually make a mess but never a blog!
How did I manage to get here, I ask myself?
Now I have started, I must surely continue!
